Maki Gingoyon is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of My Transgender Date. She is a transgender woman from the Philippines whose advocacy focuses on issues experienced by trans women. For over 10 years, Maki has used beauty pageants as a platform to increase transgender visibility. Maki was crowned Queen of Cebu in 2010, Queen of the Sky in 2013, and the winner of the Mandaue Gay Pageant in 2017. Most recently, she competed in Miss International Queen Philippines 2023 and won Best Advocacy. Today, she continues her advocacy by helping trans women and trans-oriented men find love.
