Description
"To know the Self as who you really are is the goal and the opportunity of each lifetime. To expand your definition of that is the invitation." Neale Donald Walsh
I'm happy when my body is engaged. I'm joyous when my body and mind are engaged. And I'm blissful when my body, mind, and soul are engaged. When I indulge in my physical senses, I engage my body; when I question the reality of it all, it intrigues my mind; and being able to get just a glimpse of the answer satiates my soul.
I try to live and enjoy life at all these levels.
I'd love to connect with a gentleman who is at peace with himself and his world and is looking for a special woman who is equally comfortable in hers, loves physical, intellectual, and spiritual stimulation, and to explore our lives journey together, whatever distance that may be...!!
Love,
Sonya
P.S. While I believe in true love and finding my Prince Charming--"THE ONE" person I will live "happily-ever-after" with, life has taught me it's premature to begin with that end in mind. Doing so is only setting yourself up for failure.
There's only one constant in life, and that's change. Believing your love for someone will never change, is fundamentally flawed. Relationships change all the time. We grow in and out of love and relationships, and to deny this truth is to deny your inner core being, your very fabric that makes you who you are.
The aim of a true relationship, imho, transcends making each other complete. In the majority of cases this necessarily entails compromising--you give up a part of yourself to feel complete. That's kind of oxymoron--ish, me thinks.
Relationships shouldn't involve giving up a part of you. Au contraire, it should allow each person to fulfill their grandest vision of themselves. And if, in doing so, you are transformed in a manner that's aligned with your partner's views, then that's wonderful. You did it because it gave you joy to see your partner happy. You felt good, fulfilled, and complete.
My point is, it shouldn't happen because you compromised. If that's the case, then that relationship is doomed to fail.
True relationships that endure the test of time and become stronger are ones that allow us to grow, not shrink.
I welcome connecting as friends first and, over time, progress in a direction they are meant to, without being burdened by any preset expectations.
One last thing, I will, most likely, not be the one to make the first move. I'm like any other lady, easily swept off my feet if approached by someone who knows the art and science of wooing a woman!
And until I find my Prince Charming, I'm ready to kiss a 1,000...!! Are you...THE ONE?
P.S. I stand over 6’ in my stilettos. It’d be nice if my Prince Charming and Knight in Shining Armor is a couple or more inches taller.
